As construction moves along, we'll be sharing more frequent updates so that you can virtually watch our new campus take shape.
We are so close to completing construction on the new campus. Especially exciting is the progress done on the library, which is just about complete. Our librarian Dale Dobias has spearheaded this process, dedicating considerable time, effort, and leadership. Over this last weekend, lots of employees and their families volunteered to help with the library. With so much of the community helping in the new space, it is really starting to feel like home.
Besides the library, the faculty furniture is in, the moving company is starting to move boxes over to the new space now, and we're putting on the last few coats of paint.
As we move to the new campus this week, we will be migrating our phone system. During the migration, United's phone system will be shut down starting Thursday, January 17. It will not be up and running again until late in the day on Tuesday, January 22. While you will be unable to reach United's staff and faculty members by phone during that time, voicemail will be available.
Finally, please save the date: the ribbon cutting is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 31.
